“My number one priority as a PA is educating patients about their medical conditions and the medications they take to treat those conditions. I am passionate about eliminating polypharmacy…aka too many pills. I strive to optimize medication lists and DE-prescribe whenever it is appropriate. I love talking with patients and families about their health goals. I am on their team and want to be a partner in their care. I will hold my patients accountable to do their part with their health, push them to make better choices and celebrate with them when they reach their goals.”

Personal Interests

I love trying new restaurants or seeing live music with my husband, girls trips down to Port Aransas or Fredericksburg, F45 work outs, lounging by the pool, lake weekends and checking out new parks with my 2 boys. My two favorite vacation spots are Anguilla for the beaches, and Taos, NM for skiing.

Everyone calls me Shay. I am from Kansas City and love my Chiefs, but have grown very fond of Houston (minus the summer of course). I have been a PA since 2010. I moved to the Houston area in 2011. I married my husband Eric in 2014 and we have two handsome little guys, Ethan and Pierce. I am joining Dr. Nagi here in Kingwood part time, 3 days a week, after spending the last 10 years in the Woodlands. I also have a side online business for caregivers, The Elder Care Hub, in which I teach caregivers the fundamentals of the healthcare system and how to navigate it all. I am looking forward to seeing you all at Allay Primary Care soon!
