Biography

Dr. Nagi started Allay Primary Care because of her belief and promise to practice medicine the way it was meant to be practiced. A long-term partnership between physician and patient built on trust, empathy, and personalization. Dr. Nagi knows how confusing, stressful, and challenging our modern health care system can be. She believes is helping her patients achieve long-term health and wellness, not just treat symptoms.

Dr. Nagi completed her MBBS at GGSMC, Faridkot where she developed an interest in family medicine and population health. She did her family medicine residency at SSH with Stony Brook University where she was awarded Resident of the Year in 2007. She did her fellowship in obesity and weight loss in 2016 and has special interest in Type II Diabetes as it relates to obesity and weight loss. She also does in-office procedures like pap smears, Nexplanon insertion and removal, incision and drainage of abscess, skin biopsies, and joint injections.

Dr. Nagi was born and raised in Punjab, India. She lives in Houston, Texas with her husband and two kids.
